The Economy League of Greater Philadelphia

I have been an employee in King of Prussia and commuting from Philadelphia for 5+ years. This rail line would enhance the job talent in the market, promoting employees in the city to further their careers by working for companies they have never considered before. I want to see King of Prussia competitive in all markets!

Public transportation is going to become more and more necessary as population in urban areas continues to grow. Many people are without vehicular transportation, and for them it is absolutely crucial. For example, I have a daughter who is unable to drive. It also really matters to seniors. Now that regional rail is inexpensive due to my senior status, I would never think of driving into central Philadelphia, bucking traffic jams, time uncertainties, and parking issues. Making major points accessible by public transport is urgent! *And* extending a rail line along 422 would also be extremely beneficial. Greater ease for Ursinus students to go into the larger community would be one positive outcome. Allowing more people in outlying areas to get to central Philadelphia without driving would be another. I consider this a hugely important project.

As a King of Prussia businessman for over 30 years, I see and experience the traffic congestion on the Route 422 corridor. The proposed rail link would be very helpful.

Home owner in the KOP area. It’s a no brainer to get this approved. Will increase foot traffic which will make business’s thrive along with making the area more desirable to live in.
